Procedure
Project Committee, comprising of the members of the related organizations, picks around 10 firms (entrepreneurs) to be researched.
A project team (consisting of a faculty members and students) works on a given firm (entrepreneur) under the management of a project leader
Each team conducts thorough preliminary investigations on the respective entrepreneur using public information. Team will prepare several questions that are only answered through the direct interview with the entrepreneur. A written form of those questions is submitted to the entrepreneur. This is called preliminary report.
Based on the preliminary report, several interview sessions take place and the whole interview series is video taped.
The interviews are transcribed into text form and are made into cases that can be used in the MBA program. The video-taped interviews will be edited and put in the "Entrepreneur Image Library" as a reference. Supplementary data and pictures are provided by the companies.
The "cases" and "motion picture library" are made available for use by the companies for their education and training purposes. They are also publicly disclosed at such places as the Entrepreneurial Museum of Challenge and Innovation, organized by Osaka Chamber of Commerce.
Entrepreneurs' Symposium: Based on the results of the projects, an open symposium will be held twice a year. The symposium will be consisted of researchers and entrepreneurs. In the second year, it is planned to invite overseas guest speakers to the symposium.
Open seminars: Open seminars are planned using the educational materials developed during the project and the entrepreneurs will be invited as guest speakers.
The progress and the results of the projects are subject to assessment by external researchers and entrepreneurs as well as by participating students and faculty members.
