| 1. | * This fee must be paid on entry to the University. Visa formalities for international students cannot be commenced until this fee has been paid. |
| 2. | In addition to the above, students are required to pay annually a sum ¥4,000 to cover the cost of research journals distributed to students, and an Alumni Association admission fee of ¥2,000. (This fee is not levied from Kwansei Gakuin University graduates.), and an IBA Research Forum admission fee of ¥10,000. *The IBA Research Forum is an association for research and networking between faculty, students and IBA graduates. |

For international students Kwansei Gakuin University offers scholarships and partial remission of tuition. The outline below refers only to international (foreign) students. Japanese students should refer to the Japanese-language version of the IBA homepage.
All self-financed international students - i.e. international students whose residence status is ‘College Student’ (ryuugakusei) and who are not in receipt of Japanese Government scholarships – are entitled to a 30% remission of tuition.
| | Approximately 70% of the number of international students will be offered scholarships each year. |
| | There are two categories of scholarship, ‘A’ and ‘B’. The value of Category ‘A’ scholarships is one-half of tuition fees, after the fee remission referred to above, while Category ‘B’ scholarships cover the full value of tuition fees after remission. |
| | Applications for the scholarships will not be accepted from students who have completed the standard term of study in the IBA (two years). |
| | Applications are accepted in June each year, and selection carried out in July, with awards being made in October. |
| | Scholarships are also offered by the Japanese Government and by other organizations. |
