The Institute of Business and Accounting (IBA) has agreed exchange programs with several prominent MBA programs in Asia-Pacific, Europe, and North America. These exchange programs are designed for International Management Course (IMC) students and other IBA students to obtain international experience at an institution with similar educational goals but in a different environment.
However, if there is competition for a place or available slot on a particular exchange program, preference will be given to IMC students. Under this program, the IMC student, once recommended by IBA and approved by our partner school, can participate in the partner school's MBA program for one to two quarters during his or her second-year at the IBA. Based on the agreement and its own internal approval, each exchange partner school can offer one to three exchange slots per year.
The internal selection or recommendation at the IBA is done on a competitive basis. An appropriate portion of the tuition paid in advance by the exchange participating students to Kwansei Gakuin University will be reimbursed once they have completed the exchange program for credit. All participating students in the exchange program can transfer the credits earned at a host institution to the IBA to count as graduation credits. In addition to paying tuition at the partner school, the participating students will be responsible for their own transportation and living expenses. Depending on the exchange partners, housing facilities will be provided on an availability basis.
