In today’s rapidly changing business world, it has become harder for individuals and companies alike to keep up with such a fast paced environment, some crack under pressure while other feed on it. In layman terms, business today has become “survival of the fittest”.
Kwansei Gakuin University realizes the obstacles facing business leaders today and in turn tailored a program specifically to aid what I like to call “the modern business leader”. You must be wondering how? It’s quite simple, Kwansei sets emphasis on the link between theory and practice, a formula that allows its students to be up to date with the constantly changing business world, while it hones the set skills required to survive, strive, and revolutionize.
During my time, Kwansei allowed me to engage in real-time business scenarios by focusing on the “case method” of teaching among others. In light of this, Kwansei gives its students the opportunity to obtain a higher education by giving specific insight into Japanese Business Philosophies and later comparing it to international business method principles. The comparison proves effective which allowed me and fellow students from different backgrounds and cultures to outlay our experiences, both personal and professional, to finally build a solid understanding of the requirements of business leaders today.
“In the race for excellence there is no finish line” - Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashed Al Maktoum (Prime Minister and Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Ruler of Dubai).
Kwansei Gakuin University instilled within me the mind set required to turn myth to fact, and dreams to realities. I have come to realization of the importance placed on Human Resources, seeing that companies are built on a foundation of human workforce and torn down by the same.
Building on these teachings, the Japanese education presented at Kwansei have deeply stressed on the significance of human resources. For to achieve excellence, a leader has to steer his/her people first to it.
