IBA Symposium 2009 "Human Resources under Globalization and an MBA Education" Time / Date: 13:00 – 17:30 / Saturday, March 27, 2010 Venue: Umeda Center Building |
In this joint project, we and allied universities have been working on MBA program development and enhancement, focusing on educational programs for executives, alliance with individual regions, and responses to globalization. Kwansei Gakuin Business School particularly concentrates on a response to globalization.
The term “globalization”, also termed “internationalization", has shifted with the time in its meaning, target, and focus according to business environmental changes. However, “coping with globalization and human resource development” has always been one of the most important issues facing management for Japanese companies.
This symposium featured presentations and a panel discussion to exchange opinions on the topic among specialists from companies and universities in terms of their multiple viewpoints. We shared information and addressed the most recent trends of business schools while considering the role of the future in MBA higher education.
